This institution was established in 1999 with an annual intake of 180 students. Later this intake was enhanced to 240 from the academic year 2001 - 02. Diploma in Civil Engineering was started in the Academic Year 2004 - 05.

Proposals were submitted to the NCTE. Expert committee visit is also completed to start the institution.
